Assisting the priests with liturgical celebrations
Boys and girls are eligible to serve at Mass from the time they have received their First Communion until the end of ninth grade. We offer mandatory new server training sessions each spring and fall. Once training has been completed, altar servers are able to serve at Mass and all other liturgical events.

Coordination of donated Christmas gifts for families in need
Established in 1990, the Giving Tree project is a humanitarian service that allows parishioners to purchase food boxes and Christmas gifts for children, families, and the elderly who may not otherwise receive a gift.

Hem and embroider baptismal bibs
The Women’s Guild provides special bibs to families for their child’s Baptism. The material is provided by the parish; volunteers hem and hand embroider the Nativity emblem on the bibs. Join us.

Maintaining the church’s cleanliness and beauty
We clean on the second Saturday of each month starting at 7:45 am and finishing by 9:00 am. We clean the altars and tabernacle area, dust all statues, and clean the gathering area.

Making rosaries for missions and prisons
St. Joseph Rosary Makers, part of the Women’s Guild, makes rosaries to be distributed to missions and prisons worldwide. A day group and a night group meet monthly. A small fee is collected for supplies.

Tending to small altar linens
We wash and iron the small altar linens. Because these cloths come in contact with the Precious Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, there are specific instructions on how to respectfully launder them.

Caring for sanctuary flowers and plants
Help maintain a beautiful worship space by watering and pruning all live flowers and plants in the sanctuary spaces. This is done three times throughout the week by dedicated volunteers.
