Assisting the priests with liturgical celebrations
Boys and girls are eligible to serve at Mass from the time they have received their First Communion until the end of ninth grade. We offer mandatory new server training sessions each spring and fall. Once training has been completed, altar servers are able to serve at Mass and all other liturgical events.

Maintaining the church’s cleanliness and beauty
We clean on the second Saturday of each month starting at 7:45 am and finishing by 9:00 am. We clean the altars and tabernacle area, dust all statues, and clean the gathering area.

Counting the Sunday collection
Collection Counters count as a team of four, counting the Sunday offertory and special collections. We have two sessions available: Monday mornings at 10:00 am or Monday afternoons at 3:45 pm. Each session usually takes about one hour to complete. Each volunteer is scheduled about once a month.

Eucharistic Adoration
St. John Paul II said, “The best, the surest, and most effective way to establish peace on the face of the earth is through the great power of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.” Our Adoration Chapel is open for drop in visits Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm or you can sign up for a weekly hour through the link below.

Hands-on catechesis for early Catholic learning

Providing music for liturgical events
There are many ways to become involved in the vibrant music ministry program here at Nativity. With 13 different ensembles, we provide music for five weekend Masses, as well as feasts, holidays, and other events throughout the year.
Our music ministry is comprised of amateur and professional musicians who come together to provide the highest quality of worship music. We cover 900 years of sacred music, ranging from chant to praise and worship, traditional hymns to sacred classical music. It is with great enthusiasm that we gather to make a joyful noise. We hope you will join our growing music community.

The restored order is when a youth, after making first reconciliation, is then confirmed and receives First Communion at the Confirmation Mass. Candidates must be seven years or older.
